Ok, folks, the good, the bad and the ugly.

The good: I will continue to hold tournaments on Friday nights.

The bad:  For the month of October, I neglected to sign up for FNM foil promos (as at the time of Oct. sign ups, I was unsure if I would continue FNM at all).

The ugly: Well, I can’t really think of anything ugly to put here. Tournaments I do hold on Fridays for the month of October will not be FNM so they will be full DCI point events (as opposed to FNM bing 1/2 points) for those who care about their DCI rating.

I have enough foil promos of various sets I’ve been collecting through out the last couple years that I can still give away something to participants. I’ll figure that out as I go along.

Hi! This is your friendly neighborhood site admin (aka Mia or Mrs. Sody), dropping in to mention that we’ve got new shop hours that you can view in the “About Us” section.

Take those hours with a grain of salt, though– we were supposed to be closed last Wednesday, but a surprise tournament broke out.  :)

The “How much is it worth to you?” tournament.

Format: Alara Block, 60 card minimum.

Standard pairing swiss tournament (No DCI points).

There is no initial fee to participate. However, at the begining of each match, players must decide how much they are willing to spend, and will start each game of that match with the ammount of life they are willing to buy.

Life is purchased at 5cents each in blocks of 5 life ($0.25). 10 life minimum ($0.50) and 40 life maximum ($2.00).

The prize pool will be one each of every promotional foil card I have (12 in all) where top player picks the one he/she wants and it goes down the list from there. In addition there will be a prize given to the player who has the most 5-color spells or abilities played against him/her.
